Great lightsaber for an rgb but would like movies fonts and better brightnessI absolutely love this light saber. It's the best I've tested so far for small hands and spinning. The blade is shorter than others, 26 inches, and overall this light saber is usable for one handed dueling for even very small hands. Suitable for medium to light combat.Negatives: Thin charging port, feels hot after awhile of use. Sound fonts could use a better selection. All sound fonts are obnoxious and loud, grating to the ears, especially the turn on/turn off sounds. Some of the hums are ok though. Specifically sound fonts 2, 3 and 8 are the better sound fonts.If you have small hands or like to dual one handed, definitely consider this one.While it is certainly a premium cosplay option it can also be used for a DIY display piece as the quality is that nice. However, is it $120 worth of fun? Probably not. This was an impulse order for me and when it arrived it left me wondering why I wanted it in the first place. After about 10 minutes of playing around with it, it ended up in a pile with all of my other costume pieces that likely won’t be touched for months.The best things about it are how great it looks when it’s on and how sturdy it feels. I ran around gently whacking people and things with this as soon as I got it put together and it held up just fine. Everyone who has seen it has immediately grabbed it and turned it on, fully impressed with the look, grip, and lights.The things that I don’t love about this are slightly more involved. None of them are dealbreakers, however, it’s worth noting that they’re serious annoyances. The biggest issue I have is twofold and centers around adjusting the lights and sounds. This is difficult because the directions are confusing and rely heavily on perfect timing and memorizing the two pages of instructions. Additionally, it’s made harder because there is only a single button on this unit and it doesn’t always register when you’re holding it down or just tapping it. On top of that, the packaging is a little lackluster. Considering how sturdy and cool this looks once assembled, the box just looks really cheap and tacky. I would be a little embarrassed to give this as a gift because the box looks like something you would pick up at a dollar store. My final minor complaint is that the directions state that you need to install two screws to attach the base to the top, but mine (the Black Color Hilt B option) only came with one screw hole.Overall, I think that this is a fun option, but considering how touchy it is to adjust, how expensive it is for a toy, and the cheap looking presentation I wouldn’t really recommend this specific lightsaber. There are plenty of other options available on the market for less money with similar features.
