I just got this puzzle today and absolutely love it! Firstly, the shipping was incredibly fast - thank you Amazon! Secondly, as someone who's a puzzle enthusiast whose favorite puzzles are twisty puzzles (like the Rubik's Cube) and Sudoku - I knew I'd love this puzzle, since it combines two of my favorite types of puzzles into one. Considering that I've been solving puzzles regularly for a few years now, it didn't take me long to grasp the strategy in this game, and I was able to do my first solve within about 10-15 minutes. I found it very enjoyable and I love the fact that it doesn't take extremely long to solve (though perhaps for someone who's new to puzzles this would indeed take a long time to solve - as it's quite a challenge). I also like the fact that you don't need to set anything up (as you do with Sudoku, where you have to set up the numbers first) and you can just take out the cubes, mix them all up, and start a new solve. The packaging is also amazing and high quality - the box itself, the storage tray, and the transparent plastic cover. It also comes with a nice small booklet with some instructions and tips. All in all I'd definitely recommend this puzzle to anyone and everyone!I really like it and it's a great puzzle! Nice sturdy pieces. Much more challenging than thought though. It was challenging even for me. The reason for the 4 stars instead of 5, is I think the age range might be off. My 9 yr old son, who this was for, finds it too challenging and would rather give up and I find it too challenging for his level - and he's normally good at color type puzzles like rubik's cube and such. I think we'll put it away until he's a bit older when I know he'll enjoy it much more. I think the age range should probably be 11 or 12+, not 8+.I'd thought upon buying this that it would be like pretty much every other logic puzzle I've bought for my kids and would have a booklet with increasing levels of difficulty where you place some and then figure out how to fit the rest. But no, it's basically like a blank sudoku sheet in 3D. Very cool if your mind works well like that, but not what I was expecting. It pretty much stumped my younger son and me, though my older son was able to do it. It has very little replayability for our household and frankly was a waste of money. Only buy it if starting COMPLETELY from scratch appeals to you.I got this a gift for my 15 year old's birthday 2 days ago. So far she has found 6 solutions and counting. Her other gifts are still in the boxes. The best part is that it is NOT a video game!Fun game, can little too challenging for our 10-year-old son to stick with it.Hours of fun, easier on the eyes than regular sudokus. I expected it to come with a booklet with initial setups to start each time, but it doesn't. You are supposed to just shuffle the cubes and start with one of them in an arbitrary slot and fill the rest based on that. Or at least thats what I do, there were no instructions at all. I still give it 5 stars, but some instructions would be great to have.Super fun, but VERY challenging! Bought this as a gift for my 6 year old son who loves sudoku, but even the adults in the house love to play it! Fun working as a team or individuallyYou can't solve this unique puzzle by trying many random moves: some thinking will be required. It took me over an hour to understand a few clues that eventually helped me solve it. Perhaps my eight-year-old will be able to solve it faster: she is excited about the fact that we have a new colorful game in the house. It seems sturdy enough to withstand potential attempts by her younger brother to break it apart. My whole family does not like this puzzle - there is no structure and it is too challenging to be fun. You start with putting a cube it the tray and then try to complete the puzzle - obviously there are very many combinations but there are just too many options and we didn't find it fun. I wish I had known that it was so difficult before buying but it had such good reviews.Good game, well packaged, idea to take for that rainy day in my caravan. Better than the printed editions in newspapers and book etc.Continues to entertain my 8 yr old ! Had borrowed my friends’ during LD1 but soon discovered I had to order my own!!! Great product! Thank youThis puzzle is so hard and not for children. I wished I read the reviews first I would not have bought it.Per chi ama le sfide, ha già dimestichezza col sudoku, col cubo di Rubik e con i giochi di ispirazione scacchistica, questo gioco è perfetto.
